Racquetball Tournament Results from Germany

Yvonne Kortes (GER) and Mike Bowers (USA) are the winners of the 2009 Angel Tree Tournament in Heidelberg, Germany. Kortes defeated Angela Burth (USA) in a close final 15-13, 15-14 and had a nice comeback in the second game when she was already down 7-13 but was able to win the second game and the match. Bowers defeated his longtime friend and opponent James Johnson (USA) 15-8, 15-9.

The 2009 Angel Tree Tournament has been an ERT Satelite Event. It is the first time ever that an AERA event has been sanctioned by the European Racquetball Federation (ERF).
