USA is the world champion at the XXI World’s Racquetball Junior Championships that took place at the Olympic Training Center “Juan Pablo Duarte” at the Dominican Republic. The USA accumulated a total punctuation of 298, 152 from the male draws and 146 from the women’s draw. The second place was taken by Mexico with a total of 229 points (115 from the boys and 146 from the girls). The third place was taken by Bolivia with 221 points followed by Canada in 4 th place with 111 points.
The host country, Dominican Republic took the 7 th place on the men’s and 10 th place on the women’s. In the tournament 245 athletes from 16 different countries competed. The following countries participated on the tournament: Irlanda, Canadá, Estados Unidos, México, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Puerto Rico and República Dominicana.
