The Recreation and Wellness Center will be closed Wednesday, Aug. 4, through Tuesday, Aug. 17, for maintenance and renovations. The center will reopen at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18.
The closures will accommodate an ongoing expansion of the center’s indoor facilities. The 65,000-square-foot expansion will include additional fitness space, a lap pool, four racquetball courts, an outdoor adventure center and two multipurpose activity courts.
Construction began in June 2009, and the renovations should be completed in the spring.
