O`Callaghan wins 11th title at 30th Irish Open

Noel O`Callaghan (Fermoy) won his 11th Irish Open Singles title at the 30th Irish Open held in Arklow last weekend. Katie Kenny (Castlebar) won her first Open Singles competition. O`Callaghan defeated fellow Fermoy player Sean Keane in the final while Kenny deefeated Aisling Hickey from Rossmore in Co Tipperary. Arklow pair Jimmy Gannon and Pa O`Donnell won the Mens Doubles with consolation for Aisling Hickey when she partnered Donna Ryder (Newport) to win the Womens Doubles
