MEXICO CLINCH 2011 XXIV PAN AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP







Mexico Team, with an extraordinary demonstration of an outstanding performance, won the Cup of the XXIV Pan American Championship held in Managua, Nicaragua. To Clinch the Championship, Mexico won the Women’s Double, Men’s Single and Men’s Double competition all of them against the USA Team.

In the Women's Double match Paola Longoria and Samantha Salas beat solidly Rhonda Rajsick and Krystal Csuk with a score of 10 and 7 to crown themselves as the Women's Double Champions. On the Men's Single Competition, the novel player from Mexico Daniel De la Rosa beat Chris Crowther from the USA, in one of the best matches in the Championship, with a score of (12), 14 & 9 to become the youngest player winning the PanAm Championship. To finish Mexico's outstanding performance Polo Gutierrez and Javier Moreno from Mexico beat, on a three games match, Jansen Allen and Tony Carson with a score of 13, (4) & 4.



The only lost match for Mexico, on the Women's Single Elite Divison, came on the hands of Rhonda Rajsick when she beat Samantha Salas with a score of 14 & 5 to win the Gold Medal and save face for the USA Team on this Championship.

With Mexico's Performance they won the right to have four female and four male players at the next Pan American Games to be held in Guadalajara, Mexico next October.

MEXICO GANA EL XXIV CAMPEONATO PANAMERICANO DE RACQUETBALL DEL 2011

El equipo de México, con un extraordinario juego de Racquetball, gano la Copa del XXIV Campeonato de Racquetbal celebrado en Managua, Nicaragua. Para ganar el Campeonato Panamericano, México gano en las Competencias de Doble Femenino, Sencillo y Doble Masculino, todos contra el equipo de los Estados Unidos (EUA).

En el juego de Doble Femenino Paola Longoria y Samantha Salas derrotaron sólidamente a Rhonda Rajsich y Krystal Csuk con score de 10 y 7 para coronarse Campeonas del Doble Femenino. En Sencillo Masculino, el novel jugador Mexicano Daniel De la Rosa derroto en un apretado juego al Norteamericano Chris Crowther con score de (12), 14 y 9 convirtiéndose en el jugador más joven en ganar la corona de sencillo masculinos. Para finalizar la extraordinaria demostración de juego de México, Polo Gutiérrez y Javier Moreno derrotaron a Jansen Allen y Tony Carson con score de 13, (4) y 4.

El único partido que México perdió en las finales fue en Sencillo Femenino en donde la Norteamericana Rhonda Rajsich derroto a Samantha Salas con score de 14 y 5 para ganar la Medalla de Oro y sacar la cara por el equipo de EUA.
